Saw them open for Iron Maiden and Dio back to back years. This captures their raw brain blistering metal at its core. Incredible live album!!!!! \m/
  • Best Live Metal Album Ever !!

This album is every bit as essential as Iron Maiden's "Live After Death" and Judas Priest's "Live". The guitars on this album or nothing short of genius and combined with Udo's ferocious volcals create a utopian metal blast. The production is what probably stands out the most. Just unparalleled clarity that you just don't find on live albums never mind live metal albums. I've been a metal fan all my life - Accept are the most overlooked and underrated METAL GODS out there. Just wish this album had some of the great songs from "Russian Roulette" on it - but still a metal classic worthy of a much, much higher standing in the classic metal community. "Princess of the Dawn" is phenomenal !! I must have. As is "Dogs on Leads" and "Love Child". Another must have is "Up to the Limit" and you can not forget " Head over Heels". This album is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING from start to finish. Definitely my very classic favorite metal album of all time.

One of the greatest live albums of metal. The scream in the beginning of 'Fast as a Shark' sends chills up my spine. So awesome.

I saw Accept several times during the 80's and 90's in venues ranging from enormous auditoriums to small clubs with no more than 50 people in attendance. Regardless of environment Accept never failed to deliver an incredible show. Udo Dirkschneider is the most unique vocalist in metal history. Peter Baltes is a consumate showman and has the best bass tone in the biz. Wolf Hoffmann has a winning smile that belies the ferocity and virtuosity of his playing. Stephen Kaufmann on drums was a spectacle to see and it's very sad that back injuries have taken him from behind the skins forever. Accept recently reunited and I'm very disappointed they didn't make it to U.S. shores. Online videos fill the void for now, but Accept, if you're listening: Minneapolis and St. Paul...hell, the world...needs you. Thanks for decades of the best metal known to man.
