HIT ME HARD AND SOFT

Billie and Finneas write nothing short of a Grammy award wining album. They are the winning combination. 2 Oscars and loads of Grammys and more coming. Billie’s voice has never been better. 🎤 BRAVO 👏 Definitely no skips on this one. 👍 Finally an album worth listening to through every song. Can’t remember the last time that’s happened.

First, I just want to say, I wouldn’t consider the majority of reviews if you’re considering buying this (tons were made before the album was released and were solely based on a like or dislike towards Billie). A lot of people were pretty disrespectful. If someone’s not a fan of someone or their music, they should just say it’s not their style or not listen to it. However, many people have called it “trash” or been rude to fans, which shouldn’t happen. If you’re going to spend so much time reviewing an album, think about what you’re saying and if it’s worth your time (if to you, it’s reviewing a “trash” album, then maybe it’s not). Anyways, the album was great. My first listen to this album was immediately shocking. It was worth the wait for me! Even though it’s only ten songs, each one is packed with clear, fresh lyricism that conveys the story and essence so well. There are calls back to other songs within the album and nice transitions. Billie’s voice sings in both her usual “whispery” sweetness but also shows its versatility! These ten songs make me wish I could listen to each one again for the first time. In my opinion, each song is amazing in its own way, and the production quality is great. The creative decisions made in this album truly made it what it came out to be. I’ve been a fan for a long time but in my opinion, this is something anyone can enjoy and love just as much.

Only about 3 good songs, lunch, chihiro, and L’amour. I nearly fell asleep listening to the other tracks. Also, a random note, but she sounds a lot like Hayley Williams on many tracks…. Not sure if that was intentional or not

Here is my opinion on the new album so far, keep in mind I only got to the end of the sixth song before I clicked off. So Skinny is pretty good tbh probably one of the favorites I had heard . However all the other songs it was either hard to understand what she was saying, had a total song change near the end of the songs, or it just seemed sloppy. It wasn’t my cup of tea and I feel like she has made much better songs. Billie’s potential is there and her voice is beautiful I just feel like she missed a mark on this album to a point where I wasn’t even able to finish the album. Now maybe it got better and I just didn’t give it a chance but I just feel like it could have been better. Side note: if you love this album that is great I just wanted to share my POV

Evil, gross, didn’t even listen to a song

This is by far Billie’s best album yet. Her growth in her songs is impeccable and the music sits in my ears for hours after listening even when nothings playing. Truly one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.
