Completely blown away by this album. A new sound for sure, but it suits him so well. You can hear the confidence and ease in his voice as he sings these songs, full of emotion. The lyrics are poetic and tell a story as he shows us a more vulnerable side to him. The production on the album was fantastic as well, the instruments complimenting his voice and blending beautifully. As a fan for over a decade, I was not sure what to expect when he mentioned going with a different sound and surely it was a risk but it truly paid off. 10/10.

Room Under The Stairs is a no skip masterpiece! A departure from his bass heavy R&B albums (All are excellent) However, his latest offering is a raw refreshing breath of fresh air His voice is the greatest of his generation. The album is a smooth blend of Blues, folk, and country. The only way I can describe it is by the unique vibe reminiscent of a summer evening by the lake watching the sky for shooting stars.
