Jesus is holy. As I have followed Him over the years, I have grown in my understanding of my sinfulness right along side of my understanding of God’s holiness. I love that we truly have a holy God. God’s holiness is what makes Him God and separates Him from any other god. The Greek word for “Holy” is — hagios (hag’-ee-os) which literally means “set apart” or “different (unlike)” — We worship God not only because He IS Holy, but because He extends His holiness to us through Jesus Christ! Amen!
