Rick Moranis has always been one of my favorite actors. When I heard about this album, I thought it would be bad. However, I was extremely wrong. It's clever, funny, and very catchy. I love it!

Probably the best album ever to be sold in America. Out of the 13 songs, I love 9. That's pretty good considering most albums only have 1 or 2 good songs. But 9 great and awesome songs out of 13?! That's unheard of. I listen to the songs all the time and very addictive and easy on the ears. Great for listening as you fall asleep in bed, as you walk outside, as you ride on the train. This music is great anywhere you go. His voice is very good. Oh and by the way: I hate country music, but yet I love this album. Now what does that tell you? Even for a country music hater, this will win your heart.

Combining comic songs with country rhythms is no easy task, especially for a first-timer, but Moranis surpasses all of my expectations. His inventive lyrics are the heart and soul of this album, but the melodies would stand up to any other good country album - Tony Scherr and the other musicians really help setup the humor well. Moranis covers all the comic bases and pokes fun at traditional country song themes - he seems to be having a lot of fun and it's a joy to listen to. There's real depth to his message in the lyrics of this album, which bears repeated listening to tease all of them out. A great genre-bending album from a really smart comic!
