Here are a couple options. Almost identical and just a few ingredients.
OPTION #1
- 1 cup (230g) softened unsalted butter
- 2 cups (260g) icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon flavoring of choice (e.g. vanilla extract/essence)
This simple and delicious vanilla buttercream is perfect for frosting cakes and cupcakes.
OPTION #2
- 1 tbsp vanilla 15mL
- ▢1 lb confectioner's sugar 454g
- ▢1 cup unsalted butter 225g, room temperature
- ▢3 tbsp heavy whipping cream 45mL
- ▢1/2 tsp salt
