- 1 pkg Jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp chopped pickled jalapeños
- 4 to 6 oz cheddar cheese of your choice
- 2 Tbsp softened butter for baking pan
