INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup warm water (about 110 degrees)
- 1/3 c melted butter or oil
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp yeast
- Egg wash: 1 egg, beaten + 1 tsp water
DIRECTIONS
- Using a stand mixer, add ingredients to bowl in order listed. Mix/knead on speed 2 for 5 minutes. No rise required!
- Turn out dough and shape and press into 8 buns. Placing them on your baking sheet.
- Apply egg wash and any seasoning you'd like. No rise required again!
- Place into preheated 425 degree oven for 8-12 minutes, depending on how golden you'd like them.
- Enjoy your homemade 30 minute hamburger buns!
