Is expensive Extra Virgin Olive Oil actually worth it?

There are hundreds of olive oils to choose from. You may sometimes find yourself standing there and wondering why one "small" bottle of olive oil is so much more expensive than one 10x its size. Is it worth it? Is it marketing? Is it just paying for the name on the bottle?
