
We all love a good hot chocolate. Here is one just in time for the Yule season.
INGREDIENTS
- 20oz milk
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS
- In a pot, pour milk and cocoa
- Mix for 5 minutes at low heat
- Add sugar, cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg and salt.
- Mix for 10 minutes at low heat.
To decorate (optional): cream, extra ground cinnamon, cinnamon stick
Tips:
- Instead of sugar you could use agave nectar or honey
- Add a touch of clove and cardamom
- Add a touch of Bailey's Irish Cream
