Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
Hawaiian sweet breads are crowd-pleasing dinner rolls that go with everything from tasty BBQ to scrambled eggs in the morning.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup warm pineapple juice
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon Dry Active Yeast
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil plus more for bowl
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups Bread Flour plus more for dusting

Stand mixer method 

  1. Place water/pineapple juice in the bowl of a heavy-duty stand mixer. Add the sugar and stir. Sprinkle yeast over liquid. Let stand for 10 minutes. If bubbles form you may proceed 
  2. Attach dough hook to machine. Add the oil and salt. Mix at low speed 
  3. Add flour one cup at a time and knead for 3 minutes. Proceed with rising and shaping as shown in the video 

Bread machine method 

  • Add ingredients as per manufacturers instructions. Set on dough cycle. When time is up proceed to SHAPING as shown in video
