INGREDIENTS
Red Velvet Cupcakes
- 3 1/3 cup Cake Flour, NOT Self-Rising
- 2 1/4 cup White Sugar
- 3/4 cup (12 tbsp) Unsalted Butter
- 3 Large Eggs (room temp)
- 3 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 tbsp Liquid Red Food Coloring
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp White Vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Butter cream Frosting (24)
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar
- Salt (pinch)
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Milk
Faux Edible Blood
- 1 tbsp Light Corn Syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp Chocolate Syrup
- 8 drops Red Food Coloring
Glass (Sugar Glass)
- 2 cups White Sugar
- 2/3 cups Light Corn Syrup
- 3/4 cup Water
- ***** Boil the liquid sugar until it reaches 300 degrees and pour onto a baking sheet to cool for 3 hours *****
