Martha Stewart Harvests and Cooks Delicious Fresh Scallops

The Gulf of Maine is the fastest warming body of water on the planet, causing lobsters and other aquatic creatures to flee. Andrew Peter aspired to be a losterman, but with climate change reducing the amount of lobsters in Maine he pivoted towards scallop farming.

‪Martha Stewart‬ visits Andrew’s farm in Penobscot Bay to learn how he cultivates scallops in a sustainable way. She invites him back to her home to prepare two delicious dishes: a fresh scallop crudo that tastes like the ocean as well as a pan-seared summer scallop salad.
