INGREDIENTS
- frozen puff pastry
- about 2 tsp olive oil , or as needed
- about 1/2 cup total finely grated aged cheddar and Parmigiano-Reggiano, or more as needed
- salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 400°
- Unfold your still cold puff pastry (the colder the better).
- Brush on the olive oil.
- Sprinkle on your seasonings and cheese.
- Put a layer of plastic wrap over it and push down with a flat pan or cutting board.
- Using your pizza cutter cut long thing strips.
- Twist each strip and put onto your baking sheet.
- Cook for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool and eat.
TIP: Season however you like. You don't even need to put cheese. How about some basil? Or Italian seasoning? Get creative!!
